About Me:

I perform wetlands delineations, mitigation site assessments, and monitoring of constructed wetlands for the wetlands group. I also serve on the finance committee of the Illinois Soil Classifiers Association. I concentrate on soil mapping for the Wetland Science Program. My emphasis is on soil pedology; the genesis, classification, and morphology of soils. I am especially interested in the development of hydric soil characteristics and the mapping of former surface coal-mined soils.
