Illinois Natural History Survey - University of Illinois


INHS researchers have been studying the biodiversity and conservation of aquatic ecosystems since the 1850s.

Research on organisms ranging from the microscopic invertebrates to the largest aquatic predators is conducted to better understand the aquatic ecosystems and protect these species.
