Rental from off-campus agency
University of Illinois has contracts with National and Enterprise, so use these vendors. See https://www.obfs.uillinois.edu/travel/car-rental/ for guidelines and instructions. You can use a TCard for vehicle rental.
Reimbursement for personal use
Use the personal vehicle mileage log if your trip involves multiple stops. The reimbursement mileage rate changes annually (see https://www.obfs.uillinois.edu/travel/passenger-vehicles/). Mileage covers both gas and wear and tear on your vehicle, so there is no need to keep gas receipts. Reimbursement is processed using the TEM system; be sure to clarify why you made several stops, if applicable.
