Activities:

I serve as a hunter recruitment specialist for the statewide Hunter and Trapper Recruitment (HTR) program in Illinois. Using a science-based approach we determine where hunter R3 initiatives should be focused based on sociological and environmental factors. Using these priority geographies, we aim to educate the participants and connect them with experienced mentor hunters to ensure they have the necessary skills needed for hunting. Through the HTR program I am directly responsible for coordinating and collaborating with the various project partners, curriculum development and educating workshop participants on where, how and why to hunt.
