Habitat:

ILPIN Notes: Showy aster unusual for the white disk and yellow ray flowers. The yellowish rays may reflect close relationship with certain Solidago species. Occur in certain plants in northwestern part of species range. Disk florets perfect and fertile, ray florets pistillate and fertile. A branched caudex.
