Ecology & Natural History
Habitat: ILPIN Notes: Disk florets perfect and fertile, ray florets pistillate and fertile. A Branched caudex. May hybridize with Solidago riddellii and other goldenrods. True affinity of this species may be with Solidago; certain specimens reputed to Have yellowish rays. Hybridizes with some Solidago species. Showy aster, unusual for white rays and disk flowers.
